Lottery Predictions - Cycles - The Universal Tool

Lottery Number AdvisorIf you’ve been following the last eight Lottery Predictions posts, then you already know what an unbelievably powerful Lottery Tool Cycles can be for the serious lottery player. When it comes to building a solid and robust play list, Cycles have no equal. Today’s post will not only emphasize that point but demonstrate how versatile they are; The Universal Tool.

There is a lottery strategy that has been around for quite awhile and, unfortunately, is still quite popular. It is touted with much ballyhoo and hype with claims like, 85% of all winning numbers come from the last 10 drawings. This is portrayed by vendors as a Breakthrough or a Lottery Secret Revealed. For clarity’s sake, I should point out that the 85% does vary depending upon the size of the lottery but the basic idea is the same.

All of this sounds great until a skeptic in the crowd asks this simple question. But, isn’t that true for any group of 10 drawings? Then, light bulbs begin going on and most of the people in the crowd begin to see how silly the claim really is. The hucksters have taken something obvious and disguised it as a Breakthrough.

But, wait! There is an idea hidden here that is very powerful. The idea stems from that simple question posed by the skeptic. Which group of 10 drawings provides the best list of numbers to play? Some of you may have already pick up on this but, the last 10 drawings is actually Cycle 1-10. But, is Cycle 2-11 a better choice? What percentage of winning numbers does it provide? Or, what about Cycle 3-12, Cycle 4-13, etc?

The smart thing to do here is look at all of the Cycles with a span of 10 for your lottery and find out, once an for all, which group of 10 drawings actually produces more winning numbers. Much to chagrin of many, Cycle 1-10 is rarely the best. As an example, we’ll examine the Louisiana Lotto, a 6/40 game, to see which Cycle with a span of 10 is the best performer and how Cycle 1-10 fared.

LA640 Cycles with Span of 10

LA640 Cycles with Span of 10

A real shocker! Cycle 1-10 doesn’t even make the top ten. Now, honestly, how many of you could have predicted that Cycle 11-20 would have been the best performer overall? Or, predict that Cycle 42-51 would come in second? Do you realize the number of man-weeks it would take to analyze even one of these Cycles? There are many lottery software products on the market but, they can’t do this.

This is what makes LONA the premier lottery software product available anywhere. To improve your chances of winning the lottery LONA is the serious players choice.

Lottery Predictions - Cycles and a Robust Play List

Lottery Predictions - Cycles and a Robust Play List

Lottery Number AdvisorThis is the sixth in a series of Lottery Predictions posts on Chaos Theory, Cycles and the Lottery, which all started on December 11, 2009 with Lottery Predictions, Ghostly Patterns and Chaos Theory. If you are joining this thread for the first time (or just to review) you might want to go back and follow the discussion from the beginning. It is impossible to cover this amazing topic in one post.

As we discovered in the last post, when you are creating your Play List you can use adjacent Cycles to cover the possibility of Chaotic behavior in your lottery. The three graphs clearly showed that a given Cycle doesn’t produce winning numbers for your Play List every drawing. But, when your selected Cycle is not producing, adjacent Cycles are. The three graphs from the last post are repeated below.

Notice that Cycle 15 produced 1 or 2 winning numbers for your Play List in 16 out of 30 drawings. Not bad. This is over 50% of the time. The problem is that the other 50% of the time it doesn’t contribute any winning numbers to your Play List. But, when we supplement Cycle 15 with it’s two neighbors, our success rate goes up dramatically to 24 out of 30 or 80%! Now we’re talking.

Cycles and Chaos

Cycles and Chaos

I’ve noticed a common theme in the comments I have received. Why would I waste my money on this play list if it only gives me 1 or 2 winning numbers? I can’t win anything with that. True. But, I never said you should stop there. NO, you don’t use the numbers from Cycles 14, 15 and 16 to make up your Play List; you use them to make up Part of Your Play List!

Of course, you should use other analysis techniques available in your lottery software and other Cycles to complete the Play List building process. By doing so, your Play List should be more robust and provide all 6 winning numbers more often. Notice that I said more often; not all the time. Nobody is that good. But, I’ve covered ways around this problem before in other posts - multiple Play Lists.

To improve your chances of winning the lottery, you must improve the quality of your Play List(s). Lottery software and Cycles can help you do just that.

Lottery Predictions - Cycles Prove There Is Something Going On

Lottery Predictions - Cycles Prove There Is Something Going On

Lottery Number AdvisorIn my last two posts, Lottery Predictions, Ghostly Patterns and Chaos Theory and Lottery Predictions - So Close and Yet Not Very Far Away I described how lottery number patterns exhibit performance characteristics very similar to Chaos Theory. This is particularly evident in the lottery number analysis method I invented called Cycles. Cycles are great and no one else has ever found any analysis technique which outperforms them. So, before I show you how Chaos Theory and Cycles are linked, I need to introduce you to the best lottery number prediction tool every devised.

Did You Know That Lottery Numbers ReCycle?

Here are some examples. Over a period of time, Larry notices that numbers hit back to back quite often. Some of the lottery numbers in the last drawing repeat in the next drawing. So, part of his lottery strategy is to always include the last winning numbers in his play list. Larry is playing Cycle 1.

Calvin’s experience in his lottery is slightly different. He noticed that quite often numbers would hit, skip a drawing and then hit again. This is called Cycle 2 because the location of the numbers to include in his play list are found 2 drawings back. Continuing with this definition, Cycle 7 refers to the 7th previous drawing, Cycle 11 refers to the 11th previous drawing and so on.

But, which Cycle performs the best in your lottery? Rather than fly by the seat of our pants, let’s analyze all of them and compare them to see which ones produce more winning numbers and, also, which ones to avoid. This is exactly what the Cycle tool in my lottery software does.

Pay Very Close Attention

Nothing discovered to date outperforms Cycles! Nothing! The top Cycles outperform randomly selecting numbers by as much as 15% to 35% depending on the lottery. I’ve analyzed all of the lotteries in North America and it is true for every one. So, after analyzing every Cycle, my lottery software ranks them based upon their performance.

Now, it’s time to show how Cycles and Chaos Theory come together. I’ll do that in the next post.

Do You Believe in Ghosts?

Lottery Number AdvisorAfter many years of writing lottery software to make lottery predictions, to give the lottery player a real advantage, I discovered the secret to understanding lottery number patterns. In the next series of posts, I will reveal this amazing analysis technique for you, how it came to be and how you can improve your chances of winning the lottery with these lottery strategies.

Ghostly Lottery Predictions

This happened a lot in the early years of the modern lottery and it is still happening today. Lottery players claimed to have discovered some trend or pattern in a lottery’s history. But, after all the initial excitement,  the justification would begin to crumble and slip through their fingers. As each passing drawing failed to substantiate the trend, it became another nail in another discovery’s coffin. Finding lottery number patterns was like trying to catch a ghost or holding on to fog. Just when a player was sure he had it; it was gone.

From this, lottery strategies began to evolve. The new philosophy was that the lottery was a dynamic and constantly changing system and, trends that were uncovered, were short lived. This required the player to be alert and on his toes to be able to take advantage of them while they lasted.

Evolution of a New Theory

During this same time, the philosophy of scientists, engineers and mathematicians regarding many complex physical systems were also evolving. The emerging belief was that some systems were so complex that their performance was random and not periodic.

Similarly, the lottery is definitely complex. Periodicity always seems to be slipping through our fingers; just out of reach. And, no one disputed that fact that lottery predictions were a difficult challenge. So, it appeared that the lottery fell into the same category.

Chaos Theory

Then, everything changed. A new concept called Chaos Theory surfaced. It began to slowly dismantle and undermine the old belief systems by demonstrating that systems, previously believed to be random and unpredictable, were, in fact, periodic with slight differences between each cycle.

As I continue with these intriguing revelation, you will see a graphic example of Chaos in the next post.

Lottery Strategies - Mega Millions Bonus Number Wrap Up

Mega Millions Bonus Number Wrap Up

Lottery Number AdvisorIn the last two post, Lottery Strategies for Mega Millions Bonus Number and Lottery Strategies - Mega Millions and the Bonus Number, I presented some ideas on how to handle that troublesome Bonus Number. Hopefully, the information will help you improve our chances of winning the lottery jackpot. If you are just tuning in, you should go back an read these posts to bring you up to speed.

Bless their hearts, I received some feedback from some people who simply don’t understand gambling and playing the odds. They apparently want a 100% money back guarantee. They want to be able to push a button and win the lottery every time. There is no such thing as a 100% guarantee; that’s why it’s called gambling. All a gambler can do is play the odds. And, if you’re good at it, over the long haul, it works.

So, when I showed them the odds were 5:1 (80%) that the next Bonus Number would not be one of the last 10 bonus numbers, that wasn’t good enough for them. They are not going to waste their time on such nonsense. So, let me ask them this. If smart money says the odds are 5:1 that the Yankees will win the World Series (sorry Philly - just an example) are they going to ignore that? If smart money says that the favorite to win the Kentucky Derby has odds of 5:1, are they going to ignore that? Some people are just not gamblers and should stay away; far, far away.

But, for those of you with your feet planted firmly on the ground and with a good head on your shoulders, I’m sure you will understand what I am about to show you. You can actually improve your chances while covering all of the bases! Here’s how it’s done.

For example, if you are playing 20 wagers in the next drawing, then take 80% of those (16 wagers) and select your Bonus Numbers from the 36 number list we discussed in the last post. For the remaining 4 wagers, select your Bonus Numbers from the list of the last 10 Bonus Numbers. Now, you are playing the odds and covering all of the bases. This is often times referred to as hedging your bets.

Please, please, please. Don’t email me complaining that this is nonsense. This is exactly what is done by professional traders in the futures market every single day. They protect themselves from a sudden and unforeseen event by playing both sides. Farmers (typically very conservative) do this to financially protect themselves from a crop failure. This is just basic common sense business practice used around the world everyday.

The lottery is the hardest game in the world to win with outrageous odds. The only thing you can do is improve your chances of winning the lottery jackpot. That’s it. There are no guarantees; no absolutes. So, if your spring is wound a little to tight, try to relax and enjoy playing the game. It’s fun playing the lottery. Just don’t take it too seriously. Have fun with it.
