Lottery Strategies - Taking Out the Trash

In the last post, Winning Lotto Strategies - Lets Cut a Little Deeper, we were able to improve our LFP by 11.2%. Today, we’re going to do even better. If you are just entering this on-going discussion for the first time and don’t know what we’re talking about, return to the first post on this subject, Winning Lotto Strategies - Footprints on the Brain, on October 20, 2008, to bring yourself up to steam.
We left off with a Lottery Footprint (LFP) of 7.24, but let me show you how you can do even better. To lay the ground work for today’s topic you might want to review Lotto Strategies - Trimming the Fat, posted on September 15, 2008.
If you remember, we were playing the Lotto Texas 6/54 lottery and using a 40 number Play List. All of our 6 number wagers are going to be created from that list. But, believe me, you don’t want to waste your money on certain number combinations. For instance, the 6 lowest numbers in the list are 1-3-4-5-6-7. The winning numbers are far more likely to be spread out from 1 thru 54 and not bunched together. The same is true for the 6 highest numbers from the 40 number Play List; 47-48-50-51-52-54.
The Serious Lottery Player will not play these wagers or other trash wagers that are very similar because he wants to concentrate his money on wagers that are more likely to be one of those Lottery Jackpots. And, amazing as it may seem, there is a lot of trash to take out. The Lottery Number Advisor tells us that there are 397,115 wagers like this in our 40 number Play List.
In the last post we pared down our list of possible winning wagers to 3,450,780 and now that number is reduced even further to 3,053,665. Therefore, our LFP has improved to 8.19. That’s a 13.1% improvement.
LFP=25/3.053665=8.19
So, how much would the typical player have to spend to achieve the same LFP as you? The answer is $211.
Dollars=8.19×25.827165 = $211
You probably saw this coming. You’re right. We’re not done yet. The Lottery Number Advisor can increase our LFP even further.
Can you think of more ways to improve the LFP? If you have Lottery Strategies that fit the bill, I’d love to hear about them.
