Lottery Statistics - Hard Boiled Eggs
When lottery players talk about their favorite topic, the term ‘HOT’ numbers comes up a lot. HOT numbers are numbers that have hit more often than any other numbers. This is one of the Lottery Statistics that any Lottery Software package should provide. It’s been around since the beginning of Lottery Number Analysis and is still one of the many viable Lottery Strategies available for the Serious Lottery Player.
Unfortunately, over the years the use of HOT numbers has been abused, manipulated and perverted by many in the Lottery Software business for marketing purposes; to sell more product. Unscrupulous marketing hype trumpeted HOT numbers as the key to Winning the Lottery with banner headlines like, ‘Greatest Lottery Secret’, ‘Secret to Winning the Lottery Revealed’ and ‘Send $19.95 NOW to Receive the HOT Number Strategy to Win the Lottery’. Pure malarkey, folks! Garbage!
In fact, there was one lottery expert that used the term in a slightly different context. It was called the ‘HOT Number Strategy’ where HOT numbers were defined as all numbers that have hit in the last 10 drawings. This strategy was equally bogus. Unfortunately, I think it’s still around.
The problem with all of these so called Lottery Strategies is that each strategy puts all of their eggs in one basket. Do you know what happens when you put all of your HOT numbers in one basket? You don’t win the lottery; you just get hard boiled eggs.
So, in the next few posts, I’ll try to sort out truth from fiction for you. Hopefully, when I’m done, in the future you’ll be able to recognize that BS train coming around the bend before the money left your wallet.
